LA BEAUTE NE VAUT QUE SI ON LA PRESERVE
Les pictographies d'Alexandra Mas interroge sur l'évolution du mal que l'on fait à la planète. La photographie devient un outil, comme le pinceau du peintre sur le tableau, comme l’ébauchoir qui applique l'or et l'argent sur la peau. Maîtrise somptueuse d'une technique particulière, la pictographie de l'artiste, ici, colle avec son questionnement sur le respect de la nature par l'oeuvre elle-même. Elle utilise des photographies de body painting - produits Make Up For Ever et application de feuilles d'or et d'argent - qu'elle a réalisées sur le corps de ses muses, superposées sur des photographies/clichés de ses propres toiles ou même peinture directe.

This pictographic works are questioning the evolution of our evil impact on the earth. The photography is here but a tool, next to the painting bush, the gold foil or the free hand electronic pen. Alexandra Mas masters sumptuously this unique technic, the pictographic work, which answers even physically to this question of nature respect, as they are made with a “ImprimVert” ink on a 100% recycled support, in a wood box.
